“Politicians who come to the parliament for deputy immunity mustn’t be in the VR of the next convocation. New draft laws in order to launch systematic reforms and co-operate with the electorate must be adopted”, the Our Ukraine leader Vyacheslav Kyrylenko saidon air of the 5th channel yesterday.
He has expressed his hope that other political forces would support the bloc’s initiative. “We need just 300 votes to cancel People's deputy immunity. We plan to complete this process in February 2008, having introduced the constitutional changes," he said
At the same time he noted that “regions”, who stand for People’s deputy criminal immunity cancellation but stand for political immunity, act against their conscience.
