The Civil Assembly of Ukraine “Political crisis: position of civil society” has started its work in Kyiv. The aim of this action is to discuss the positions of the most active organizations of civil society from all regions of Ukraine regarding the reasons of political crisis occurrence, and elaboration of recommendations for politicians in order to escape political crisis. The main task of the Assembly is to determine the demands of society concerning the early parliamentary elections holding and the behavior of politicians after the elections.
The representatives of 350 civil organizations take part in the Assembly. The Assembly’s work is divided into three sections.
At the final plenary session of the Assembly the speech of the State Heads, the representatives of political forces, judicial power, and mass media are expected.
