President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko on Thursday congratulated the Kharkiv region’s and the Poltava region’s farmers on harvesting their first 1 mln tons of grain.
As the President’s press service informs, Kharkiv and Poltava regions are among the leaders, who had harvested the first 1 mln tons of grain.
Yushchenko described themas “tireless workers,” praising theirpersistence and self-denial.
“Your work is hard and very important. Ukraine lives and works due to the tireless workers, who always take care of ground. I thank you sincerely for your resistance and self-denial. I’m convinced that our efforts will provide Ukraine with deserving future,” Yushenko said.
