Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Peter Gordon MacKay.
During their talks Viktor Yanukovych emphasized the necessity to activate the cooperation between Ukraine and Canada. “I would say so: Your today’s visit is in time,” the PM said.
During the meeting the Prime Minister noted that more than one million of Ukrainians live in Canada, and of course, it has great political meaning.
According to Yanukovych, ties of relations are united Ukraine and Canada. “Ukraine is proud of Ukrainians, living on the territory of Canada, who hold an active position in the state, and do good,” the Head of the Government emphasized.
