Yulia Tymoshenko is for the resignation of Minister of Transport Mykola Rudkovsky in the connection with the negative situation on the railway transport. She stated at a press conference on Wednesday, July 18, commenting the accident in Lviv region.
“Such weak businessmen must be discharged from the positions of Ministers,” Tymoshenko said.
She claimed that the Minister of Transport must be a man “with military discipline and knowledge of the transport system”.
The BYuT leader noted that nowadays only friends or acquaintances are appointed at high posts.
According to her, the Cabinet of Ministers appoints the Ministers and the Heads of departments amateurishly. As an example, Tymoshenko thinks that Rudkovsky as an acting Minister of Transport does all the possible in order to capture recourses of railway and the finance flow. And he doesn’t think about the transport security.
“That’s why we have one accident after another,” Yulia Tymoshenko emphasized.
