Privileges of People’s deputies are legal but not always reasonable. Their cancellation can help to increase state budget of the country by USD 300 million. Stepan Havrysh the CCU judge stated.
According to him, benefits of people’s deputies are just as they were got in scope of history of parliamentarianism in Ukraine and none of the People’s deputies would like to lose them.
“On the other hand, these benefits are not always fair and reasonable, as being in office of People’s deputy twice, they have much preference that have nothing with people’s deputy activity,” he said.
Havrysh considers that if to sum up all benefits it will comprise not less than USD200-300 million annually – for additional investment in social sphere.
