Law enforcement agencies and the government commission are working at three reasons for accident of 15 derailed tanks with yellow phosphorus in Lviv region. Ukrzaliznytsya Director General Volodymyr Kozak announced that at a briefing, the ForUm informs.
According to Kozak, the freight belongs to Kazfosfat Company.
Kozak said he immediately reacted on accident and sent fire crews to the place of accident. "Our forces liquidated the fire," he said.
Kozak informed that law enforcement agencies and the governmental commission headed by Vice Prime Minister Olexander Kuzmuk were working at three reasons of the accident: "Condition of railway, condition of the rolling stock, and the rules of transportation of such freight are being checked now," he said.
In case employees of Lviv railway are found guilty in the accident by the investigation, they will be brought to criminal responsibility, he said.
According to him, there is still danger for the population concerning breath system injury.
