In accordance with the elections legislation, CEC must declare election campaign start not later than on August 2, Deputy Head of the President’s Secretariat, representative of the President of Ukraine in the Constitutional Court and in the Central Election Commission Maryna Stavniychuk said that yesterday, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
“CEC must announce start of election campaign not later that in 60 days before elections,” she said.
At the same time, she noted that CEC may do it earlier.
She also considers that CEC must not give political estimations to the situation. “CEC members must follow Constitution and laws,” she noted.
According to her, next week, CEC will work in full composition after vacations.
