President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko expressed his wish concerning budget 2008. The deputy head of the President’s Secretariat Olexander Shlapak said that today at the briefing in Kyiv, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
According to Shlapak, Yushchenko wants his social initiatives to be taken into account of the Budget 2008. He also insists on regulation of those problems arisen during consideration budget 2007.
In his letter to the PM Yushchenko advises the Government to count attentively nominal GDP for the next year once more.
Moreover, Yushchenko insists on budget deficit to comprise no more that 2% from GDP.
Shlapak also informed that the President paid Cabinet attention to necessity of living wage increase.
