President congratulated grain growers

President Viktor Yushchenko on Thursday congratulated the Zaporizhzhya region’s and Crimea’s grain growers on harvesting their first 1 mln tons of grain, President's press office reported.

“The grain you have harvested in this year’s unfavorable weather conditions is a significant victory, as it contributes to the stability of the Ukrainian grain market,” he said.

Yushchenko wished them success and rich crops “so that the state should avoid grain shortages.”

“Being the best is not only a great honor but also responsibility. I am convinced our joint efforts will secure Ukraine’s future.”
