Social policy and labor Minister Mykhaylo Papiyev stated that the Government is ready to fulfil law on introduced changes to state budget that will renew social payments in accordance to the Constitutional Court verdict, in case such law will be adopted in the VRU. He told the journalist today at the press conference.
He said that it is already fifth decision of the CC. According to him, annually operation of some articles of laws are suspended in the budget. He noted that it is connected with that majority laws are adopted before very elections. He also noted that operation of some social laws was suspended also during government work of Yushchenko, Tymoshenko, Kinakh and other politicians.
“It is not a unique event (as Tymoshenko called it -ed.)", Papiyev said.
At the same time he said that to obey CC decision it is necessary to make changes to the law on state budget. But for this the VRU is necessary to be legitimate. So in case such law is adopted and the President signs it, then the Government will fulfill it.
As a reminder, on July 9 the CC by its decision cancelled position of law on state budget that stopped social privileges and compensations for people.
