The Cabinet of Ministers increased volume of forming the State Seeds Reserves from 6.5 thousand tons to over 30 thousand tons, the Ministry of Agricultural Policy informed.
As it is pointed out, because of amendments to the Law "On the State Budget of Ukraine", the volumes of grain purchase of the 2007 yield were reviewed upwards to the State Seeds Reserves to carry out the autumn and spring sawing campaigns.
The Cabinet of Ministers' decree provides for grain purchase to the State Seeds Reserves to the volume of 18 thousand tons, barley - more than 6 thousand tons, oats - some 1 thousand tons, peas - over 1 thousand tons, buckwheat - more than 1 thousand tons, maize - 1.5 thousand tons, soy-bean - up to 1 thousand tons, sunflower - 80 tons, and rape - 20 tons.
