Next year growth of GDP in amount of 7.2% and inflation rate -6.8% are expected. The first vice PM, the Finance Minister Mykola Azarov said that today at the Cabinet session, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
According to him, it means that for the fist time of the history of Ukraine there will be more that 4 thousand dollars of GDP for one personthat is six times more that in 2000.
Azarov also noted that average salary will be UAH 1654. “It will be a real growth by 17%,” he said.
He also said that artificially created political tense influenced economic. According to him, the Government took measures to liquidate “dramatic consequences” of political confrontation, but there are still “some moments”.
He noted that work at budget 2008 has significant importance. “The Government set task to plan budget for 3-5 years ahead,” he noted.
Azarov informed that Cabinet wanted to adopt budget 2008 on the basis of new tax code, but destructive position of some political forces broke the whole budget process.
