Chairman of the VRU of the fifth convocation Olexander Moroz stated that nowadays the preparation for early elections results falsifications is being carried out. Moroz said at the meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary USA Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor, as the VRU press service informed.
Moroz stated that the early elections are necessary “not for new parliament formation, it is only a reason to hold the referendum on making changes to the Constitution”. “It will end tragically for Ukraine,” the VRU speaker is convinced.
He noted the necessity of strict Constitution following from the side of all officials, first of all the President.
At the same time, Moroz said: “The Head of the State wants absolute power, authoritarianism, and dictatorial model of Government”, what he opposed earlier.
The chairman of the VRU emphasized the inadmissibility of making changes to the Constitution of Ukraine, “UNIAN” reports.
Moroz criticized the President’s initiatives. He noted that the implementation of bicameral parliament will split Ukraine, explaining that the unitary State doesn’t need bicameral parliament. Moroz said that the idea of People’s deputy immunity cancellation is not new. He reminded that in amendments to the Constitution it is proposed to restrict significantly the People’s deputy immunity.
He stated for the necessity to restrict the President’s immunity, as well as the judicial organ.
