On Saturday at 7.50 a.m. unknown persons assaulted secretary of the Lviv regional committee of the Social party Sergiy Goncharuk.
As first regional committee secretary of the Social party of Ukraine Evgen Talipov told, unknown persons came to Goncharuk from back and started beat him with bats. Goncharuk lost consciousness and then malefactors ran away. At the same time, they didn’t take any precious things or money.
Goncharuk was taken to the hospital where he was diagnosed with arm fracture, craniocerebral injury and numerous hematomas, “UNIAN” reports.
“It’s nothing else as the campaign of political persecution, which has been started in the Lviv region. Recently the office of the regional organization of the Party of Regions has been burnt. Then unknown persons have poured acid Dmytro Basara the regional committee secretary of the Social party in Lviv, as the result he has lost his sight,” Talipov stated.
According to him, SPU leader Olexander Moroz was informed about the assault. In his turn, Moroz charged deputy Interior Minister to take a control over this crime.
