In case social initiatives of the President forces the Government to increase rates of rise of social standards, bothe the President and the people of Ukraine will appreciate it. The first deputy head of the President’s Secretariat Olexander Shlapak said that on Wednesday at a briefing, the ForUm’s correspondent informed.
“In case initiatives of the President lead to the Government will offer speed rate of rise of social standards, and they will be based on real economic ground but not on deficit, then both the President and each people of Ukraine will appreciate such initiative,” he noted, commenting on statement of the Finance Minister Mykola Azarov concerning intention of the Government to raise salary by more than 500 UAH before the President will do it.
However Shlapak is convinced that salary rise should be proved by real economic situation.
At the same time, he noted that he did not hear about any intentions of the Government to do it before the President.
