President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko demands from Kyiv authorities to make order on issue concerning allocation land for construction of historical part of the capital.
The President forwarded a letter to the Kyiv mayor Leonid Chernovetsky, the ForUm’s correspondent informed.
According to the President’s press service, Yushchenko signed in his letter: “While fulfillment of President’s decree Prosecutor General’s Office revealed facts of systemic violations of current legislation from the Kyiv council and Kyiv city administration side on allocation of land for construction.” UNIAN reports
“I demand to take measures with the purpose to remove violations of the current legislation and to make lawbreakers responsible for it,” Yushchenko noted. According to the President, this issue is urgent to be discussed at the Kyiv council session.
