President Victor Yushchenko on Tuesday said a plan to organize and host the Euro 2012 finals should be ready by October, according to the President's press office.

“I want us to see this document in three months. We will hold a meeting in October after the elections,” he told the Euro 2012 Coordinating Council and added that the plan should contain detailed instructions and names of those who will implement it.

Addressing the mayors of the Euro 2012 host cities, Yushchenko asked them to cooperate with the Euro 2012 Organizing Committee and “make it your mission in the next several years in the context of the European championship finals.” “Each mayor should have a plan and we will build a calendar of our meetings according tothose plans.”

The president also said it was necessary to draftEuro 2012 laws by October. “I am ready to propose them in October,” he said, urging Kyiv’s authorities to resolve their conflict with an investor building a leisure center in front of the capital’s Olympic Stadium by their next meeting.
