Yushchenko to speak to PA OSCE

Olexander Chalyy the deputy head of the President’s Secretariat said at a press conference on Tuesday that the President would speak at the 16^th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperationin Europe (OSCE) on July 5 in Kyiv, the ForUm’s correspondent informed.

This day Yushchenko will also hold a receive in honor of its participants.

Moreover, according to Chaly, the President’s speech will be about the importance of adapting Ukraine’s parliamentary system to European standards. Yushchenko will also speak about imperative mandate and reiterate his demand that Ukrainian lawmakers repeal legislative immunity. Chalyy said Ukraine would not be represented by the Verkhovna Rada during the session but by its OSCE parliamentary delegation.
