The National Bank of Ukraine has limited the use of foreign currency cash in Ukraine as a means of pay, the NBU's press service reported.
The NBU Board approved a resolution envisaging three moments to use foreign currency cash, notably, payments to diplomatic representations, in airport shops and to pay customs fees.
NBU established that banks will receive commission on these operations, foreseen by this resolution, only in Hryvna.
According to the NBU, adoption of given resolution will assist in decrease of the dollarization of Ukrainian economy.
