President of Ukraine Viktor Yushenko met with Turkish Speaker Bülent Arinç in Istanbul in the scope of a summit of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, as President’s press office informs.
They spoke about how to develop Ukraine’s political ties with Turkey in the context of EU integrationand boost bilateral trade (USD 4.2 bln in 2007).
Yushchenko and Arinç also discussed energy issues.
