President Victor Yushchenko on Friday met with Ukraine’s governors to speak about how to implement his new social policies, presented earlier in the Ostrog Academy, according to President's press office.
Yushchenko insisted that these initiatives should become their priority. “We are in charge of carrying out intelligible policies, particularly regarding the most socially unprotected social classes,” he said, asking the governors to inform people in their regions about these policies and ensure their implementation.
Secretariat Chief of Staff Viktor Baloha and his deputies, Oleksandr Shlapak, Viktor Bondar and Maryna Stavniychuk, took part in the meeting.
