Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych pays two-day visit to Moscow.

He demonstrates optimistic spirit before the session of the joint Russian-Ukrainian Intergovernmental committee on economic issues and preparation for meeting of two Presidents.

Yanukovych admits divergences between Kyiv and Moscow, but considers them to be overcome. “Certainly, each country stands for its interests but we always managed to find a right solution,” Yanukovych said. “We do not have simple questions, all questions are quite complicated, they are on trade-economic, oil, energy, gas,” he added.

Concerning situation in Ukraine, Yanukovych noted: “In general it is important that everything that happened in Ukraine for the recent time is solved in peaceful way that allows to go ahead. It is important that we return to legal field.”
