NATO confirms its intention to develop partnership with Ukraine within enhanced dialogue. It is said in statement of Defense Ministers of 26 countries of the Alliance.
“We confirm again our intention to realize opportunities of enhanced dialogue and Committee NATO-Ukraine on our practical support to Ukraine,” the statement says.
The Ministers appreciated “progress achieved by Ukraine for last year on reform realization of defense sector of the country, including measures taken by Defense Ministry of Ukraine on improvement of compatibility of Armed Forces of NATO and Ukraine. They also called Ukraine to keep taking reforms aimed at transformation of the whole defense sector.
The Heads of the Defense departments of NATO countries thanked the Ukrainian Government for support in International security assistance force in Afghanistan and in Antiterrorist operation “Active efforts” run by Alliance in the Mediterranean Sea.
