President Victor Yushchenko on Friday sent two letters to Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, according to President' press office.

In the first letter, the President asked the Premier to find ways to support Ukrainian farmers who will lose a big share of state aid when Law no. 1112-V on Changes to the Law on Value Added Tax Regarding the Taxes Imposed on Agricultural Producers comes into force.

In his second letter, Yushchenko demanded that the Cabinet to analyze the risks of the enforcement of Law no. 877-V on the Fundamentals of State Control Over Economic Activities, whose clauses are inconsistent with a number of Ukrainian laws, and propose changes to it, if necessary.
