The first vice speaker of the VRU Adam Martynyuk announced 27 resignation applications of People’s deputies from BYuT faction and 19 applications from OU faction, the Forum’s correspondent informed.
In such a way the total number of resigned People’s deputies comprises 151.
Now the parliament has less than two thirds of its members. But Martynyuk noted that People’s deputies’ resignation does not mean dismissal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
He marked that the Our Ukraine and BYuT election lists have candidates, who are ready to enter the VRU, take the oath and work.
"Currently, everything depends on the Central Election Commission," he said.
