The permanent representative of the President in the VRU Roman Zvarych declared that the President had right to appoint his representative in the Central Election Commission.

“I would like to remind the PM Yanukovych that in accordance with the Article 106 of the Constitution, the President has right to form advisory, consultative and other additional services that are necessary to provide fulfillment of his constitutional authorities. In this connection, such institutions like President's representatives in the parliament and the CCU were formed,” he sad commenting on PM’s statement that position of the President’s representative in the CEC is not foreseen by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine.

According to Zvarych, the President who is the guarantor of the human rights and freedom fulfillment, created institution of the President’s representative in the CEC, having appointed Maryna Stavniychuk.
