Interior Ministry, Emergency Ministry and Prosecutor General’s Office will take measures in Chernobyl region to prevent removal of goods and food form Chernobyl. Such resolution was adopted today during interdepartmental meeting in the Prosecutor General’s Office concerning consequences liquidations of Chernobyl disaster and social protection of people in the zone of estrangement, the ForUm's correspondnet informed.
The deputy Prosecutor General’s Office Tatyana Kornyakova informed that the department revealed numerous violations from Ministries of Emergency, Nature, Interior, Health Protection, Labor and social policy, and Agrarian Policy side.
According to Kornyakova, today there is no proper provision of storage of radioactive wastes, removal of radian scrap metal wood, food and fish out of Chernobyl zone
She informed that absence of fence around zone of estrangement contributes to free access to it.
Moreover she noted that facts of poaching, including with fire-arms, electric fishing-rod, nets and other forbidden tools are fixed at the Chernobyl zone.
