Corruption is flourishing in Ukraine, the PM Viktor Yanukovych told today at the Cabinet session, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
“Situation is catastrophic,” he said. According to him, the country is suffered from inappropriate law “On state purchase” that came into force in 2006.
Yanukovych charged the first vice PM Mykola Azarov to send a letter to General Prosecutor’s Office, Interior Ministry and SBU in order to solve this situation,” Yanukovych also informed that he agreed this question with the President. They agreed to make order in the country together.
But at first It is necessary to make changes to current law on state purchase. Yanukovych noted that it is necessary to submit new draft bill to the parliament not later than on Friday. “I will ask the President to sign this law that is almost worked out now,” he said.
At the same time Yanukovych does not know whether the opposition comes to the parliament to considers this draft bill. “We will ask the President and the opposition that on Friday the parliament to consider the all necessary laws for the country activity,” he said.
