Ukraine and Switzerland are implementing a joint project on forestry development dubbed the FORZA in the Transcarpathian region (West Ukraine), the State Forestry Committee reported, the Cabinet press office informs.
The Swiss Government will allocate 2 mln. USD in total. According to the FORZA international coordinator Hilmar Fiolmi, a conception of the Transcarpathian tourist route was developed. 80 km. of tourist routes were yet equipped with necessary facilities, and a tourist informational center was set up. At separate areas even-aged one-layered planting turns into unevened multi-layered stands. It is also planned to carry out forestry cluster analysis in regions of the Carpathian Euro region.
