The CEC meeting hasn’t taken place.
5 members of the CEC will demand to hold the meeting tomorrow. Mykhaylo Okhendovsky, the CEC member, stated that after it had become clear there is no quorum. Only 8 CEC members came to the meeting, except of 10.
5 CEC members in journalists’ presence signed the appeal to the CEC chairman to hold meeting tomorrow at 4 p.m.
Mykhaylo Okhendovsky hopes tomorrow’s meeting will take place. At the same time he noted that the present CEC members hoped the meeting would be held today.
He emphasized that the only question concerning formation of CEC composition from different regions was planned to consider at that meeting. He demonstrated the VRU resolution from 1999, where the division among the regions was made exactly on the basis of the resolution, “UNIAN” reports.
“What we insist on is that this question to be viewed collectively,” Okhendovsky told.
