President Victor Yushchenko on Monday met with Prosecutor General Oleksandr Medvedko, President's press office reported.
Yushchenko reiterated his demand that the Prosecutor General’s Office must be politically neutral and carry out investigations more efficiently and quickly. The President added that, despite much political controversy and speculation, Medvedko was the country’s only legitimate top prosecutor.
