Interior Affairs Ministry of Ukraine plans to teach its staff to speak English for communication with tourists before final part starting of the Europe football Championship 2012, taking place on the territory of Ukraine and Poland, Konstantin Stohniy, the head of the press service of the Inferior Affairs Ministry, has claimed.

According to the press service of the football Federation of Ukraine, Stohniy has noted that currently such experiment is being carried out in Lviv region and soon will be carried in Kyiv and other regions as well.

“Nowadays the experiment is held only in Lviv region. Policemen, who will communicate with tourists, are attending English courses. The Interior Affairs Ministry plans to hold such measures in other cities that will host the European championship as well as in the regions where many tourists will be,” Stohniy told.

Euro-2012 matches are planned to be held in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Lviv. Poland will held matches in Warsaw, Vrotslav, Gdansk and Poznan. An opening match will be held in Poland’s capital – Warsaw, and the match for the first place will be held in Kyiv.

Kharkiv and Odessa are the cities of reserve in Ukraine, Krakow and Hojuv are the cities of reserve in Poland. They will be engaged in the Euro-2012 in the case of problems with readiness in the main cities or in the case of a big amount of champion participants from 16 to 24 teams.
