The Economics Ministry of Ukraine predicts up to 0.5% inflation in June, director of the social and economic policy department of the Economics Ministry Vadym Pishcheyko said, the Cabinet press office informs.

The department director said that presently the price situation on the food market is stable and raising prices for oil products do not influence inflation so far.

As Pishcheyko predicted, if inflation paces are preserves the Govt's inflation forecast for 2007 will come true.

As UKRINFORM reported, the Economics Ministry predicted inflation in May at 0.3% - 0.6%, and in 2007 at 7.5%.

In January - April inflation reached 1.3% and in 2006 11.6%.
