Ukraine will study an offer of Russia concerning participation in creating the International centre for uranium enrichment in the town of Anharsk of the Irkutsk region which the Ukrainian delegation is going to attend soon. Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych stated during his meeting with head of the Federal Atomic Energy Agency of Russia Serhiy Kyriyenko, "Cabinet press office" informed.

“Your last offer on creating the center in Anharsk – we’ll study it. In the nearest future our delegation is going to visit this place, we’ll study it and take a decision. I see no problems,” the PM said.

In the course of bipartite negotiations the Prime Minister emphasized positive fuel and energy cooperation between Ukraine and Russia noting that between two countries and energy blocs of governments the strategy partnership is developing in three directions – supply of atomic fuel to Ukraine, its utilization as well as scientific and technical cooperation.

“Relations between our countries are exemplary,” Viktor Yanukovych underscored and noted that it also concerns the leaders of relative ministries and departments of Russia and Ukraine.

The Head of Government expressed hope that visit of Serhiy Kyriyenko to Ukraine “will strengthen more bipartite relations and create new conditions for further common activity”.
