“Our Ukraine” meeting dismissed People’s Deputies

The interparty meeting of “Our Ukraine” bloc approved a decision on Saturday on 66 People’s deputies’ resignation from faction of “Our Ukraine” bloc, elected to the Verkhovna Rada on March 2006.

 

208 out of 343 voted to accept such decision, only 2 delegates were against. The decision was made with a thunderous ovation. The delegates applauded standing.

 

Vyacheslav Kyrylenko, the faction leader, informed that the made decision at the 3-rd interparty meeting session of "Our Ukraine" is unprecedented which had never been accepted earlier in the history of independent Ukraine ".

 

"We understand this decision is accepted in the name of protection and development of Ukrainian democracy, in the name of protection of a fair society, in the name of protection of voters rights, the will of whose had been inspected by ruling coalition in the Verkhovna Rada and in the name of those Ukrainian values, which are confessed by "Our Ukraine” bloc and its millions supporters all over Ukraine," he told.

 

"Our Ukraine" faction includes 72 People’s deputies. The CEC didn’t accept “Our Ukraine’s” decision in the signature absence of the “Manufacturers and entrepreneurs of Ukraine” party, as well as the stamp of that party.

 

The Pechersky district court in Kyiv submitted the CEC to consider that case on zeroing the “Our Ukraine” bloc list. However, given submission was appealed by the “Manufacturers and entrepreneurs of Ukraine” party.
