President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko by his decree has prolonged the VRU legitimacy for one day.
According to the document, Yushchenko made an amendment to the article 1 of the President’s Decree from May 29, 2007 № 476 “On cancellation of the article 2 of the President’s Decree from May 26, 2007 № 355”. The decree comes into force from the day of a public promulgation.
Meanwhile, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has not approved draft bills necessary for the early parliamentary elections on September 30.
