Ex-chairman of the Pechersk court in Kyiv Volodymyr Kolesnychenko declares about pressure on the judges who plead resonance cases. Pressure, personally on him, has started since December of last year. He told today in an interview to “Newspaper 24”.
He explains it as possibility to influence judges by state power body, which has a right to dismiss him.
“The judges are afraid if the decision is “politically wrong” they will have serious consequences,” he said.
Kolesnychenko positively appraises decision of the CCU on ban to appoint and dismiss courts’ chairmen and their deputies by the President.
“I consider it is necessary to stop discussion about who can appoint court chairman. This question should be solved by the bodies of court governing,” he said.
