The coordinator of the parliamentary majority Raisa Bogatyryova opined that the PR will able to form the coalition in new parliament both by itself and together with the current partners – CPU and SPU.
Bogatyryova suggests that the PR will have 226 votes and will be able to form coalition itself but other parties with less votes are likely wish to join the coalition.
According to Bogatyryova, the PR has positive experience of cooperation with communists and socialists and considers them as effective partners. So it is not a problem for PR to form the coalition in the new parliament. At the same time she noted that the PR will do everything possible not to allow the current situation in the parliament. The matter concerns that conflict still remains despite some agreements and consensus between political forces.
She also considers it will be difficult for opposition forces to form mega bloc as both OU and BYuT has its own expectations and benefits despite their numerous agreements that practically exist “only on paper”.
