The people’s deputy of BYuT faction Andry Shevchenko considers it is necessary to proof-read laws texts on elections. He told in an interview to Forum’s correspondent.
“In particular I speak about changes to the law on elections. Being a head of the Free speech Committee I should say we worked out significant part of changes concerning agitation and mass media participation in election campaign. But now it is necessary to proof read changes introduction. We are going to integrate worked out changes package to enhanced package on changes introduction to the law on elections. But I know that the CEC members do not participate in work of the working group. In my opinion it would be good to integrate this process as soon as possible,” he said.
“BYuT position concerning elections terms is well-known. First of all elections should be carried out as soon as possible and secondly they should be well-organized,” he added.
