The President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko keeps insisting on referendum on changes to the Cioonstitution of Ukraine. The President told yesterday after the meeting with the PM Viktor Yanukovych.
According to Yushchenko, the issue on nationwide referendum is still open. “I consider the nation should have no more surprises like in December 2004, when changes were adopted with no debate which destructively affected the balance of powers. I insist on having a wide public discussion,” he said.
