The first vice PM Mykola Azarov considers it is necessary to change the composition of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine.
“It is necessary at least to adopt a law on early elections, i.e. to determine all procedures. In my opinion the CEC should be changed because there are no PR representatives in the CEC composition,” Azarov said in an interview to “5 channel” yesterday.
Azarov considers actions of the opposition are an attempt to withdraw the coalition from the power illegally. He also noted that public opinion has being prepared for early parliamentary elections since autumn. An it just because improper coalition was formed from our opponents’ point of view,” he stressed.
Azarov opines that decision on the parliament dissolution can’t be constitutional under current conditions. It can be fulfilled only by forceful way. But the coalition is not afraid of forceful scenario as it relies on the President “who is the Constitutional guarantor and will not allow forceful variant.” At the same time Azarov noted that there are some desperate people who consider such variant. “There are many extreme-aiming people of the President,” Azarov said, adding the he believes the President will not allow such situations.
He also noted the President had dismissed the CCU judges Stannyk and Pshenychny illegally.
