A photo-exhibition by Christian Teske in Luhansk has oppened the Days of Austrian Culture in Ukraine. On the agenda of the event there is a festival of Austrian films and Austrian operas.
The Luhansk Regional Theatre of Russian Drama will see a jubilee concert of the Luhansk Regional Philharmonic House Orchestra, conducted by Kurt Schmidt. Recently, the President Viktor Yushchenko had conferred the order "For Merits", 3rd grade for his contribution into development of the Ukrainian -Austrian cultural relations. Kurt Schmidt will soon mark his 65th birthday.
