The Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych declares that he supports prowestern course of Ukraine but at the same time he noted that stands for gradual not for rapid integration of Ukraine to Europe. He told «The Sunday Telegraph».
“I support prowestern course that contributes to creation of democratic, wealth and social robust society. The difference between my and my opponents position is that the y try to go to the west as soon as possible,” he said.
According to him, the policy of his opponents leads to usage of Ukraine as a key element for establishment sanitary boundary with Russia. “Is Europe interested in it? I think, no. That’s why I support gradual integration,” he said.
