The coordinator of the parliamentary majority, the leader of PR faction Raisa Bogatyryova is convinced that hosting the final Championship Euro-2012 is positive and encouraging signal for national political elite. She considers that Europe believes in political stability and opportunities of the country, according to the press service of PR.
“It is an offer to stop conflicts, refuse struggle and to start negotiate on one consolidated political power. Yushchenko and Yanukovych have one more reason to reach consensus to sign a plan on preparation for Euro-2012 and to determine mutual strategy on this responsible and ambitious project,” Bogatyryova considers.
According to her, Ukraine as traditionally football state has significant sport potential of its own ideology of football. “…It is necessary to work. But the ball is now on the field of the politicians. It is important they would not score in their own goal,” she noted.
