Victor Yushchenko has met with Wilfried Martens, President of the European People’s Party, according to the president's press office.
Martens supported his intentions to guarantee the irreversibility of Ukraine’s democratic course. He said his party was monitoring closely developments in Ukraineand was ready to help our country promote and ensure democratic changes.
They also spoke about the idea of a youth forum involving representatives of Ukraine’s and the European Union’s political parties before this year’s Ukraine-EU summit, scheduled to be held on September 14 in Kyiv.
