The VRU adopted a law submitted by the President “On approval of the President’s resolution to let department of armed forces of other countries in 2007 for participation in multinational military trainings”. 237 out of 260 registered people’s deputies voted for it.
Olexander Moroz informed that at the NSDC meeting the Defense Minister Anatoly Hrytsenko asked him to support this draft bill.
The law establishes permission order of departments of armed forces of other countries on the territory of Ukraine, conditions and control order for their activity during residence time at the territory of Ukraine. The law approves the President’s resolution to let armed forces to Ukraine for participation in multinational trainings “Rapid Trident -2007”, “Combined Effort – 2007”, “Sea-brieze-2007” and Ukrainian-Russian and Ukrainian-Belgium tactic trainings.
