The Cabinet of Ministers raised wages to state employees by 5% on April 1, the Finance Ministry's press service told.
On July 1 and October 1 state employees will see further salary increase by 4.8% and 4.5%, respectively.
The year 2007 will see a salary increase by 18% at average of 170 to 200 UAH per month.
The Cabinet of Ministers will work toward gradual increase of minimum wage.
