They spoke about the situation in Ukraine, especially how to resolve the political crisis.
Metropolitan Volodymyr said the church supported all the political forces wishing Ukraine good and wanting to settle the conflict peacefully. He gave the Ukrainian leader his statement on the current political developments in the country, which had been published today.
They agreed that no church should be used in an upcoming election campaign, president's press office informs.
