In the morning President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko held
a telephone talk with the PACE President Rene van der Linden, press office reported.
Yushchenko informed the official about internal political situation in Ukraine. He underlined that early parliamentary election is a democratic settlement of the political crisis in the country.
In his turn, PACE President noted that under conditions of a political crisis it is very important the political forces to retain wisdom and prevent escalation of the conflict.
Rene van der Linden told that PACE can assist Ukraine in settlement of the situation. He informed Ukraine’s President that in the near future a question about including Ukraine’s case into agenda of the next PACE session would be considered.
